AAPG’s International Conference and Exhibition (ICE) to co-locate with AOW

Africa Oil Week (AOW) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) are pleased to announce that AAPG’s International Conference and Exhibition (ICE) will co-locate with AOW.

Africa Oil Week (AOW) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) are pleased to announce that AAPG’s International Conference and Exhibition (ICE) will co-locate with AOW, 4-7 November 2018, bringing many of the world’s top energy explorationists and executives together in Cape Town, South Africa.

“Bringing these events together is about connecting the commercial and technology elements of the African Oil and Gas sector for better decision-making,” said AAPG Executive Director, David Curtiss. “ICE at AOW is an opportunity for senior leaders to communicate, collaborate and share experiences with their technical teams.”

The co-location of these two industry-leading events will align AAPG’s focus on science and technology with AOW’s spotlight on senior-level insights, investment strategies and invaluable networking opportunities at the 25th Annual Africa Oil Week, 5–9 November 2018.

While the events will be operated autonomously with separate registration fees, exhibit halls, and education sessions, the organizers are thrilled to announce the continent’s most compelling Prospect Forum for NOCs, Independents and Geosciences companies to showcase Prospects and Data.

“We’re excited to welcome AAPG’s ICE alongside AOW,” added Paul Sinclair, Conference Director, Africa Oil Week. “Our attendees will benefit from access to the Prospect Forum, which will be led by AOW with deep technology insights gleaned from AAPG’s technical program.”
