My name is Arsène Frédéric BOISSY 

I was born in THIES (Senegal), city where I did my primary and secondary studies. 

After obtaining my bachelor's degree in science I continued my training at the Institute of Earth Sciences (IST) of the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, where I graduated with a degree in geologist engineering in 2011. 

I was first recruited in 2012 by a Senegalese SME involved in alluvial gold exploration in eastern Senegal, particularly in the Kedougou region, for a period of 3 months; then by a British mining company specializing in gold exploration, called STRATEX, which was in partnership with a Senegalese company called Energy and Mining Corporation (EMC), This time for a period of 2 years 6 months. 

In January 2014, I was recruited by PETROSEN as a geologist engineer with as main mission the periodic evaluation of the oil and gas potential of the Senegalese sedimentary basin but also the control and monitoring of oil and gas operations. 

In 2020, following the restructuring of PETROSEN into a parent company, PETROSEN HOLDING with two subsidiaries namely PETROSEN Exploration & Production (PETROSEN E&P) and PETROSEN Trading & Services (PETROSEN T&S), I was appointed Head of the oil and gas Databank Services Manager of PETROSEN E&P. 

Since 2023, I have held the position of Head of the Promotion Department at PETROSEN E&P.
