Carla Tharp

VP of Corporate Development, Apache Corp

Carla Tharp was appointed vice president – Corporate Development in July 2021. Previously, she served as vice president – Reserves since January 2020. Before joining the company, Ms. Tharp served as managing director of Energy Investment Banking at Raymond James, director of Acquisitions and Divestitures at Citi Global Markets and at Lantana Energy Advisors. She began her career as a reservoir engineer and has held a variety of engineering roles with increasing responsibility.

Ms. Tharp holds a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed professional engineer.
