Bongani Sayidini is currently the Chief Operating Officer at the Petroleum Agency SA.

He is a Petroleum Engineer with 22 years of experience in the petroleum industry. He has held various technical and strategic roles ranging from Production Technologist, Reservoir Engineer, Senior Reservoir Engineer, Principal Reservoir Engineer, Strategist: Business Intelligence, Regional Manager: East Africa, Vice President – E&P, and Acting CEO of South Africa’s National Oil Company, PetroSA in 2019/2020.

Bongani Sayidini holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering; an MSc in Petroleum Engineering (Imperial College London, University of London); an LLM in Petroleum Law and Policy ‘Distinction’ (University of Dundee), and an MBA (University of Cape Town).
