National Content Manager Petroleum Authority of Uganda

Betty Jackie Namubiru is a Local Content Expert in the Oil and Gas sector. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Economic Policy and Planning, and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics, both of Makerere University, Kampala. 
 
Betty currently heads the National Content department at the Petroleum Authority of Uganda, the institution responsible for regulating and monitoring all the upstream and midstream operations in Uganda’s oil and gas sector.
 
“The Africa Oil Week 2018 is a great opportunity to showcase Uganda’s progress in promoting national participation in Uganda’s oil and gas sector. I expect to learn and share knowledge of local content trends with other African countries this week.”
