Andrew McAuslan

Head of Business Development – Upstream BP

Mr McAuslan has 34 years technical and commercial experience in a range of upstream roles with BP.  He is currently based in London as Head of Business Development for BP’s Upstream business, accountable for managing major commercial negotiations and business development in the global upstream portfolio. He has previously worked extensively in the Middle East and FSU leading major access and infrastructure projects, his team managed BP’s 2018 entry into Cote D’Ivoire, Sao Tome and Principe, and Madagascar.  He holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and an MBA from the Open University.  He is a Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
