Côte d’Ivoire Roadshow

The Côte d’Ivoire Roadshow, focusing on E&P and licensing round opportunities in the country’s promising oil and gas market, will take place on Wednesday 25th October from 3.30 to 5.30 pm. Hosted by the Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Development of Renewable Energy, Mr Thierry Tanoh, this Roadshow is the occasion for potential investors to get first-hand information on the state of play in the country from the key people,  including  the Ministry Chief of Staff in Charge of Petroleum and senior managers from Petroci, Côte d’Ivoire’s national oil company.

The Roadshow will feature an introduction to Côte d’Ivoire’s hydrocarbon and energy strategy 2020, the investment environment, petroleum code, legal and fiscal framework and licensing strategy, along with a geological overview, and the geology of the available blocks.

Mali Promotion: Oil exploration in Mali and attracting investors 

Also presenting its oil industry opportunities at Africa Oil Week is Mali, which was ranked one of the most dynamic countries in the region in terms of reforms by the World Bank's “Doing Business” report. Its Investment Promotion Agency, which won the AIM "Investment Award" for its incentive-strengthening reforms, is taking advantage of these achievements to enter into constructive dialogue with the business world. Mr. Hamed Ag Mohamed, Director-General of the Authority for the Promotion of Oil Research (AUREP) will be presenting Mali’s five oil-rich basins, divided into 28 blocks, of which 13 are still available, along with the investment framework in areas such as taxation and its Public-Private Partnership policy. The Mali Promotion also takes place on Wednesday 25th, from 10.45 to 11.45 am.

This session is a must-attend for anyone looking to the country's promising oil landscape.
